Celebrating LOVE

Here are a couple photos from the past couple weeks....

Oh just watching ESPN

Jade loves rocking with Great Grandpa Tom

I couldn't help myself.

It is no secret that I love...LOVE! I found out that just a couple days after our first anniversary, Alex's grandparent's were celebrating their 60th anniversary! Just my luck...a week full of love!

Alex volunteered to plan our first anniversary. I hope I can live up to his planning next year because it was PERFECT! We woke up and lounged around until noon when we went to Tucanos! It is a Brazilian restaurant where waiters come around constantly shaving all kinds of meat off for you. It is all you can eat and we didn't hold back! Then Alex got us ticket to an MLS game and we were on the second row behind the net! It was soooo much fun! Soccer really is growing on me. THEN Alex got us a lodge in Park City. It was a beautiful lodge. We watched a movie, ate treats, cuddled our sweet J girl and went hot tubbing! In the morning we went to Kneaders for their all you can eat french toast! uhhhh can you say perfect weekend?

On our wedding day...

We threw an old pair of shoes up in the "Shoe tree"
Some pictures of the lodge in Park City for family to see.
We set off a floating lantern!
A couples days later for his grandparents anniversary we planned a little...role play. We made our own Steven's cafe for their anniversary dinner. Complete with candles and menus. I was the cook and Alex was the waiter. It was a junk load of fun! In 59 years Alex and I will celebrate OUR 60th anniversary! What an incredible milestone.

Tasha and Ben finally got back from Haiti. Our only friends in Utah left without us for the beach...not cool.

NATALIE CAME TO UTAH! This was a pleasant surprise because we hardly get to see her cute little family. It was so nice of her in laws to share their time with them with us! Natalie and I took our 3 month olds to get their ears blingified. They were troopers and barely cried. We had a blast going on a cousin outing to get earrings. They are besties and they don't even know it yet!

We got invited to go to my cousin's house for supper! Brooke made great food and my other cousin Christina and her husband made homemade icecream! It was great catching up and admiring all their cute kiddies! I'm sad we neglected to take a picture!

We went to Alex's cousin's baby Fin's baby blessing. He was so adorable in his handmade suit! Babies are everywhere it seems and I love it!

Summer is getting better and better!
